Managing a supply chain involves everything—from processing work orders and ordering and managing materials

Supply Chain Efficiency Analysis
Managing a supply chain involves everything—from processing work orders and ordering and managing materials—to creating and transporting products and billing customers. Various systems are used to manage these processes. Together, a firm’s processes and systems ensure an efficient supply chain operation.

Complete a production efficiency analysis of a given supply chain scenario. Create an infographic showing the processes and systems involved in managing the supply chain. Evaluate the process flow, and identify a potential problem that could disrupt the supply chain. Finally, recommend a strategy for how the operations team can proactively avoid the problem to ensure that the supply chain continues to flow.

Use this template to complete the assignment: Unit 4 Template.

Address the following:

The introduction should introduce the reader to the role that processes and systems play in a firm’s ability to manage a supply chain successfully.
Assess the given supply chain scenario, and create an infographic slide that includes the process flow to manage the supply chain production.
Evaluate the flow to identify a potential problem that would disrupt the supply chain.
Design a strategy that would ensure that the operations team can proactively avoid the problem.
Consider the following:

Which process–system options offer the best solution to the problem?
How do processes and technology work together to proactively avoid the potential problem of allowing the supply chain to run efficiently?
The conclusion should summarize key points from the supply chain efficiency analysis.
Deliverable Requirements

The infographic showing the flow of this supply chain should be comprised in a .5 page. The analysis of the supply chain should be 4.5 pages in length. Be sure to cite sources using APA properly; include references and in-text citations.

Submitting your assignment in APA format means, at a minimum, you will need the following:

Title page: Remember the running head. The title should be in all capitals.
Length: 5 pages minimum
Abstract: This is a summary of your paper, not an introduction. Begin writing in third person.
Body: This begins on the page following the title page and abstract page and must be double-spaced (be careful not to triple- or quadruple-space between paragraphs). The typeface should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics, except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 5 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged.
Reference page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hanging indent, italics, and uppercase and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.
