It is believed that friction ridge impressions were used as a means of identification as far back as 221 B.C. Over the years, the exploration of fingerprints has experienced many milestones.

After reading this week’s assigned reading choose a historical incident or a contributor to the science of fingerprints and write a 400 word essay discussion.
