Compose a critical review of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games
For this essay, you will compose a critical review of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games. For this assignment, you will need to find four articles about the novel, please make sure the articles you use are for the novel, NOT THE FILM! A critical review is not merely a summary of the articles. Instead, you should organize your review according to topics discussed in the reviews and compare what each of the reviewers has to say about that topic.
The idea is to examine several different reviews to determine where they overlap or agree and where they disagree. Your goal is to create a synthesis of the topics to come to a greater understanding of the value of the text. Your review should end with a discussion of how these reviews have enhanced/affected your own understanding of the novel.
Your essay should be at least 700 words, but no more than 1000 words. You should include in-text citations and a works cited page in MLA style.
