“prestige pricing”?

“prestige pricing”?

Would this not qualify as “prestige pricing”?  Would the price for this ever come down unless there is competition and a “price war” breaks out (even at around $250K)?

Would the market all of a sudden surge because the prices is NOW $199K instead of $250K… or will there be only that “elite set” that will pay the $250K and would do so for the next several years and, for this reason, the price would remain high?  What benefit is there to Virgin Galatic to lower its prices at this juncture?
