Each member from both sides will submit an individual reflection essay (500 words minimum) about the negotiations.
In your essay:
- Discuss how the outcomes compared to your expectations for each process.
- Include a discussion of the Intra organizational bargaining, attitudinal structuring, and the form of negotiations.
- Discuss leverage, including applying Marshall’s four conditions (see the Budd text) and the alternatives to reaching an agreement.
- Include any lessons you could apply to your experiences in the health care, auto industry, pro sports, and newspaper cases from Clark, Delaney, and Frost. How did your experiences compare/contrast with these cases?
- Apply the Cleary and Shetach articles to your essay. What lessons did you/should you have used from these articles?
