This assignment asks you to examine the influence of Greek and Roman society in Western culture.
Create a PowerPoint presentation with five images to demonstrate the influence of the Greek and Roman societies on modern Western culture (for this assignment, modern Western culture is defined as the years from 1500 AD through the 21st century). This can be architecture, art, medicine, military technology, etc.
Each image should be on its own slide. Images can be photographs, paintings, sculptures, etc. The two slides after each image will explain the connection between this modern image and Greek and Roman societies.
Example – The Second Bank of the United States was built in a Greek-Revival style. An image of the Second Bank of the United States would be on one slide and then two slides after the image would be an explanation of Greek architecture and how this building was influenced by that architecture.
Assignment Expectations
Length: 300 words per image (1500 total for this assignment)
Structure:
Include a title slide at the beginning and a reference slide at the end.
Each image should be its own slide and then two additional description slides per image.
Each slide will have no more than 20 words; the remainder of your description will be added to the speaker notes under the appropriate slides.
Minimum of 15 total slides (not including the title or reference slides).

References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Include at least three (3) scholarly citations to support your claims. Students may use the notes section on each PowerPoint slide for in-text citations.
