Introduction

            The welfare of people refers to the social well being of that group of people. It involves the health, security, success and happiness of that group of people. Different countries have welfare systems and welfare associations that deal with the well being of their people. Welfare systems therefore basically involve the protection of the rights and freedoms of members of the society. Governments have implemented welfare systems for these reasons and America is not an exception.

            The US welfare system has over 80 programs that are aimed at helping the low income earners in the US. Some programs focus on the needy in the US, others focus on the disabled while others focus on the aged people…..
