Provide an overview of the importance of integrated change control (ICC)

We use earned value management as a tool for evaluating performance. After evaluate performance, we often need to alter the project in some fashion. This may require us to change the project plan in terms of scope, schedule, or costs. As project managers, we need to work with our project sponsor to determine the best course of action once the impact of the change is known.
