Introduction

A public policy can be described as a guided principle action taken by the executive branch of the administration of the nation or state in a way that is consistent with the law. The foundation of the public policy is the substantial constitutional and national law. It can also be described as a topic which is promulgated by the representatives of the government, or a government entity such as agency or corporation. Public policies are usually formulated by government agencies. However, the public is also allowed to air its views on the policy being formulated.
