Tort reform will benefit the medical practitioners and not the patients. The ACP gives provisions that make it harder to sue the medical practitioners. Although most cases that have involved the medical practice are completely absurd and are out of the patient’s frustration, they are instances when the doctors are sued for being negligent. As a doctor, then it is only right that you owe your patient a duty of care. Making it hard to sue doctors might be detrimental as it leads to poor services being offered….
