Discuss with team members how to create a coherent draft with a logical flow of ideas. Remember that everyone has a different writing style. Here are some ideas to help make this step easier. First, revise the ideas and structure of the paper (e.g., Is the argument clear? Is the evidence presented in a logical order? Do the transitions connect the ideas effectively?). Second, edit the entire paper to eliminate differences in style and any inconsistencies between the individual authors’ various chunks. Third, proofread the paper by checking for typos, spelling errors, punctuation problems, formatting issues, and grammatical mistakes. Fourth, be sure to follow APA rules carefully. Your paper should be typed and double-spaced with 1″ margins on all sides. The preferred typeface for APA style is black, 12-point Times New Roman, and double-spaced.
