Discrimination of women in the workplaces has been dominant since time immemorial. They are perceived as weak and not able to effectively disseminate leadership duties in their workplaces. Many leadership especially the high positions are given to men. Men are perceived by the society to be more effective in leadership. Once people are given chance to elect a leader in a given institution, or a promotion is to be offered for a high position, men would most likely win and get the position, even if most of the people voting are women.
