Development theory,” on Mills’s “Internalizing racial identities,” and on Sussman’s “Modern Racism and Anti-Immigration Policies.” How does internalized identity operate in politics of identity and identity politics? What are the mechanisms in which systemic racism persists to maintain identity politics? How can politics of identity change anti-immigrant policies and internalized racial identity? How would you resolve this problem?
