1. What are the risks or dangersof not responding to the news media even when the information is negative to your organization? Why is it best to tell one’s own bad news?

Public relations play a very crucial role in building the image of an organization. It is a tool used by organizations to communicate their visions and missions to members of the public and to counter any reactions people might have regarding the organization (Wilcox, Cameron Reber, 2015). Whenever negative news about the organization are out in the media it is very important that the organization responds to the claims to either exonerate itself or refute the claims by providing further information to members of the public. If this is not done, a potentially small issue could lead to a ruined brand and loyalty……………………….
