Oversight of public administration refers to that ability of an appointed external body to review or monitor the decisions and conducts of government agencies and public officials as well. This can be achieved through inspection, investigation and audit.

One of the factors that are most probable of hindering political oversight of public administration is the friendship or closeness between the two opposite sides or individual. This indicates that the party responsible for keeping watch tries to cover the party under oversight. This is common among people or parties that had a close past. Therefore, the oversight party will just favour the other party thus failing……………
