After reading this week’s assigned chapters, think about your nursing philosophy. In your own words, discuss your philosophy of nursing. Reflect on the definition of the four concepts of the nursing meta-paradigm. Write your own definition for each concept of the meta-paradigm of nursing. Which concept would you add to the meta-paradigm of nursing and why? Which concept would you eliminate and why?
Your paper should be 1–2 pages in length, in APA style, typed in Times New Roman with 12-point font, and double-spaced with 1\” margins. Cite at least one outside source using APA style.

The above instructions demonstrate that this is not just a free flow of ideas of your Philosophy of Nursing. It is actually very specific and asks for specific content related to the metaparadigm of nursing.
To help you get the most points possible from this paper. I have included here a template with headings to organize your paper. (I do not accept formal papers without headings for each section! i.e Philosophy of Nursing or Nursing Theory Comparison.
So Headings would be:
Introduction-Brief opening paragraph to introduce what the paper is about
The Four Metaparadigm of Nursing-List and define the 4 metaparadigm from the reading in your own words. These are in your required reading for week 1.
My Additions and Deletions to the Metaparadigm–Also in your reading, it gives you examples of some other concept words that could be included as a metaparadigm, choose one of those concepts and explain why you think it should be included as a fifth metaparadigm. Then if there is one of the original four that you don’t think needs to be there, tell which one and why.
Conclusion -Add a Conclusion that reflects on the concepts of the metaparadigm in general and perhaps which ones you value most as a nurse and how these correlate to your nursing practice.

- No need for an abstract or table of contents for any of the papers in this course
