perfect and APA please

The family word story is created to familiarize children about –at family words. It is actually about a little boy. His name was Sam. He was cute and friendly. He liked to play bat. The interesting thing was that he used to wear hat while playing cricket with his friends. One of his best friends was his cat. The cat usually sat near to him while he played. The cat’s favorite place to sit was a mat. The cat was fat and fond of eating rats. No rat could stay alive when Sam’s cat was around. Sam loved to chat with his friend, the cat.
I believe this story will help the kids to realize the –at family words. It is always good to create fun and interest with help of animals, cartoons and any other thing that may bring attraction for children. I was bit nervous when I started to gather ideas to make a story. My target listeners are innocent and enthusiastic kids. It was simply not an easy task to make them sit and understand the family words. Learning and comprehending family words will definitely aid kids to enhance their reading fluency. They may feel easy to read new beginners books without much guidance and effort.
Children will love to learn the skill with the help of a story board. The animal character like cat and a little boy like Sam will certainly grab the devotion of kids. They will be more involved. But I felt it hard to find more convincing –at family words though I tried my best. Actually I wanted to produce my best effort. I am sure I can make another story with the same family words to reinforce the kids’ learning. It’s always enjoyable to see kids participating with you in the activity you have created for them.
I believe the chapters (8, 9 and11) we have reads it’s so helpful to us to create a storyboard, and help the learner by using the different types of media and technology Smaldino, et al. (2012).

2) Good effort Joellen! I appreciate your hard work towards creating the storyboard. An important aspect of your storyboard is the use of continuous music in the background. I am sure appropriate and nice music will leave influential effect on the audience. Your choice for the storyboard to illustrate the meaning of integration and the practice of the learners’ psychomotor sphere as well as including an audiovisual storytelling method as revealed in your storyboard is nice. I encourage your effort to make awareness among students about the concept and the use of resume in the start of your storyboard.
Actually it will help them to understand the importance of resumes. Your focus on the participation of students and their involvement in the activities you have created for them is considerable. This is really true that all teaching techniques can be useless if the learners are not actively engaged in the activity (Smaldino & Lowther &Russell, 2012). Working on the correct concept map and dialogues will definitely take you to a successful final video. I believe the learning process is never-ending. There are a vast majority of books, websites and journals available to get information on the subject. They may help you to get guidance on creating a wonderful storyboard leading you to grand success in the final production.
As far as the problems in your storyboard are concerned, I really don’t see a prominent imperfection in your work. The only minor issue is to avoid repetition. This is really something that makes storyboard bit boring and the students will start losing their interest. With the passage of time and reviewing your work over and again, your storyboard can be improved to a better level. I really wish you all the best with your final production. Good Luck!

3) Nice work April! I must say that you have taken a good start. I believe your storyboard will help the children to understand and reinforce the importance of sentence completion in a proper way. This is very significant when young learners make their own sentences to express their feelings. This is indeed a very basic concept to start your sentence with a capital letter and end the sentence with a full stop. If I discuss storyboard with you, you are working in an impressive way. Still there are few things, which I would like to share with you.
You have started your storyboard in a dialogue-form between a teacher and a student. This natural scenario will grab the interest of the children. However, moving on, you may please use some nice and bright color combination. I believe storyboard is about narrating a story starting with single picture. This is just a point. We need to stay on an image for a shorter time and then bring a new relevant picture. The sequence is imperative so the children can grasp the reason for creating storyboard for them. I have observed that the development of visual rational and scheduling, enlisting notions on the storyboard and then positioning the constituents of the storyboard Is critical. This promotes more philosophies.
By converting your storyboard thoughts into video production, you may easily realize the effect and inspiration that it may cause. In fact, storyboarding is a vital step to create a successful video. It makes easier to know the effect of scripts, flow of dialogues, transition from one scene to another and special camera effects in the video. Most important thing is to make sure that there should no irrelevant pictures included in the storyboard (Jew, 2013). A proper sequence and interlinked scenes conveys the message in a better way.
I wish you good luck with your storyboard and looking forward to its final version.
