Hardy’s Thoughts

Hardy opens our eyes to different theology views. Understanding the distinction between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of earth (Hardy, 1990). In weather you’re looking at work in human life in relation to God. “ While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being” (Holy Bible.King James Version, 2016. Psalm 146:2). Loved one’s neighbor could be applied to any service of giving back and bettering a situation. Eternal life does not depend on God’s promise but on man’s progress in the battle against sin. It is important that our love of God and our love of our neighbor not be separated (Hardy, 1990). Giving God your undivided attention is important or you could miss an important lesson in life, there is a time to work, and a time to listen. Humans were built for work and the dignity it gives us as human beings, regardless of its status or pay (Keller, 2012. Pg 53). We all have a choice whether your way is God’s way or motivated in a merit way. I agree in doing things the right way and treating people with the utmost respect. My station is parenting, and my purpose is to care for my children.

HR Implications

Employee engagement is the extent to which an employee’s thoughts and behaviors are focused on his or her work and their employer’s success (Valentine, 2020. Pg 161). Workers contribute more to an organization if they feel more connected. Most connections are linked to loyalty, which is defined as being faithful to an organization. Employees feel like they have a meaningingful job, when they are connected and loyal to God. There is a richness in the variety of approaches brought to bear to inform understanding of key challenges in employee engagement, this serves as a caution against approaches which implicitly promote best or narrow ways of understanding (Harney & Collings, 2021. Pg 6). Job security and work life integration  is a decline in job security and a sudden change inside of the organization, which might include layoffs, mergers, and acquisitions (Valentine, 2020. Pg 172). Some changes inside of an organization might draw an employee away from an organization, especially if it’s affecting personal beliefs. Candidates make decisions about the desirability of a particular employer based on moments of interaction with the organization (Intindola et al., 2019. Pg 4). International orientation is a particular mindset that outlines the four major worldviews, ethnocentric, polycentric, regiocentric, and geocentric (Valentine, 2020. Pg 575). The global expansion approach could only help out a company, this aligns perfectly with God’s worldview. Understanding more about a country, culture, and region helps bring meaning into the company and a teaching exposure to treating your neighbor with love as God would have wanted.
