Each of us has a natural way that we approach leadership or conflict—based on our past experiences, education and training, worldview, and values. However, it may be difficult to pinpoint just what that approach is. Taking an itemized self-assessment can make your natural leadership tendencies—as well as your existing skills and traits—clearer. With this information, you can then develop in areas that align with and facilitate your goals.
In this Assignment, you assess your strengths and growth opportunities in order to determine what aspects of leadership and management are a good “fit” with your personality, leadership style, and relevant skills.
Submit a 2- to 3-page paper (not including title page and references) evaluating your leadership style and followership style based on the four questionnaires you completed. Be sure to:
Assess your personal leadership traits and style based on the questionnaire results. Include both strengths and areas for improvement.
Describe your followership style based on the results. Explain the implications of this style for you as both a leader and a follower within an organization.
Identify at least one area of growth that would be most important for you to develop, and explain why.
