What else are you observing? Reflect. 1. What strategies do you see the teacher using? Why? How does this help the students read the words? Reflect. 1. We also see the teacher moving to another part of the lesson when she tells the students they are going to read a book. Observe how she prepares the students for reading the book and how and what she teaches them. Reflect as you watch. 1. How did the teacher bring closure to the lesson with the two students? Reflect on what you have observed. Now watch as she transitions to the next group. Listen for the objective for the next group lesson and watch how Ms. Christensen works with the next group. Note: As Ms. Christensen begins working with the next group, she will have a new objective. So far she has worked with one individual student and one small group. And now she will begin to work with another small group. Each lesson has had different objectives and goals. Reflect.
