Assignments

MGT 435 International Business • Section 01 • CRN 46925 • Fall 2013

Five assignments are required in this class. For the assignments, the professor will present a question based on an international business topic (see below). Based on the question for each assignment, each student will research both sides of the argument posed by supporters and non-supporters of the topic.

All student submissions are to adhere to the following requirements.

a) 1 complete, academic journal article* (a direct link to the article or a PDF of the article submitted as an attachment to the assignment must be provided) that supports the “Yes” response to the question

b) 1 complete, academic journal article* (a direct link to the article or a PDF of the article submitted as an attachment to the assignment must be provided) that supports the “No” response to the question

c) 1 student write-up of no less than 1000 words, no more than 1500 words in which the student provides their stance on the question and along with their educated reasoning for their decision. d) Student submissions must be a text entry (attachments are not permitted for the student write-up portion, only the articles can be attachments) in Canvas.

e) Participation grading criteria: met due date and time – noon on the stated date, met/did not exceed length, no grammar/spelling errors, articles meet criteria, student assignment meets criteria, valid and substantial support, student provided a clear decision, submitted as a text file within Canvas, undergraduate-level intellectual contribution of the content
