To gain a general knowledge of Congress and how it works, I strongly recommend that you read chapter 11 of your textbook before you start working on this report. Second Paragraph (i-iv) = Your Congressional Representative (in the U.S. House of Representatives)
Identify and briefly discuss your current congressional district
Identify and briefly discuss your current congressional representative
Identify and briefly discuss your current representative’s party affiliation
Discuss when he/she was first elected to this office
Third Paragraph (v-vi) = v. Discuss his/her interests and committees he/she serve on; discuss a bill he/she sponsored or supported or opposed (critically discuss the author, date, purpose, benefits for society, cost (in $) associated with the bill). Was the bill passed in both House and Senate? What was the president’s action on the bill? Does the bill reflect your values/interests? Discuss your opinion of the bill and your representative? Did you vote to re-elect your representative on November 6? Discuss why or why not.

Fourth Paragraph = Conclusion – Discuss the lessons you learned from doing this assignment that you will share with other people; why and how will you share this experience?
