This class has proven to me that films are not only about entertainment. More than watching the characters play their role, I now find it hard to resist comparing the character roles and the congruence between the film and the trailer made to the film. With this in mind, films I would previously appreciate as well produced now fall in other categories such as poor scripting and lack of relevance to the modern society. In as much as the changes may be perceived as negative, they contribute to better understanding of the film industry than was previously present. Before, I would only watch a film and not give regard to the credits that appear at the end of the film. All that has now changed and I find myself getting interested in knowing who the editors, distributors and producers of a film are. This I do for purposes of future comparison to understand who the best producers are……………………………..
