It needs to be at least 350 words

Describe a situation where you believe there may be an ethical violation taking place by one of your colleagues on the job where you work (for this discussion, let’s say that you work at a private facility serving autistic and developmentally disabled children ages 5–18). What type of evidence is acceptable to use when deciding whether or not to bring a possible violation to the attention of your colleague? Are there specific guidelines for how to go about confronting your colleague, and if so, what are they, and how would you approach this situation? How would you respond, and what is your duty as an ABA professional? Legally? How might your own sociolcultural background play a role in this decision?

Dr. Dayton works through a busy schedule. On this particular day, he had attended to many clients when the nurse on duty informed him of the autistic child who was known as Pittman. Pittman was suffering from an earache. However, when he was called in for examination, he could not maintain eye contact, and he could not respond to the questions asked by the doctor. Pittman could not even allow the doctor to peer in his ears so as to make a diagnosis.  On consulting the parents of the child, Dayton found that the parents belonged to a self-advocacy group that believed that the condition was just a neurodiverse disease, and it was not pathological. The doctor was aware that the situation and understood that the child was in danger of an infection, but he went on ahead to agree with the parents not to treat the condition. This was morally wrong and in my opinion, the child should have been compelled to receive medical attention…………………………………………..
