Emergency operations plans

Two Short Discussion Board Questions.

1. What is an emergency operations plan (EOP)? Discuss what the EOP for a hazardous materials event response plan should include. Does planning and preparation allow EMS organizations to respond effectively? Why, or why not?

2. Respond to this students response : An EOP is a plan that agencies have in place and their staff trained on when a disaster strikes. The EOP is a backup plan for when the primary way they function is compromised. Every agency should have one in place. We just never know when we will have to use the plan. (William)
