Write a 1750 word essay addressing each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer the questions for each bullet point. Essay:
A developmental assessment for children under age 3 is an attempt to assess various aspects of the child’s functioning, including areas such as cognition, communication, behavior, social interaction, motor and sensory abilities, and adaptive skills. Assessment of the family and the child’s environment also provides important contextual information. Research developmentally appropriate assessments used to evaluate young children.Describe the developmentally appropriate process you would use, along with directions, and how you would use the assessment results to design and evaluate your teaching effectiveness. The essay should discuss the following:
1.The importance of the developmental assessment
2.The components of the developmental assessment
3.The process for carrying out the developmental assessment
4.Using the findings of the developmental assessment to inform teaching
5.Communicating findings to parents and other professionals.

Assignment 2:
The purpose of this assignment is to apply what’s learned in this chapter. Specifically how Behavior and Temperament play a role in their development.
For this assignment, you will need to complete the following:
Observe a child in an educational setting using Table 3.1.
Record what you observe in each category. Be specific in your observations with regard to age of the child, academic atmosphere etc.
Write a summary and include a copy of your observational notes from the table you used. Be specific in your essay. Include stimuli, lack thereof, classroom, time of day, etc. Use the table as a template for your observation, but elaborate on your findings and conclusions.
Back up your claims and observations with references to your readings in this course and any outside resources.
Your essay should be 1250 words and should include at least four (4) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing.
