1. What \”cultures\” do you identify with or are you the most familiar with (tell me at least 3)? This can certainly be an ethnicity for one of them. Like for me, I\’m Scandinavian, but my cultural familiarity is not limited to that. I also identify as part of Midwestern culture (some good IG accounts with relatable memes for this guy out there), even though I don\’t live there anymore, and I\’m familiar with the culture of my work organization, simply because I\’m part of it.
2. How do your cultural identities play into your self-esteem and how you perceive yourself? Use language from the text to support your answer.
3. How do you perceive others from similar cultures? From different ones? How is your communication with others affected by both cultural similarities and differences? Are you self aware enough to know? Again, use terminology from the text to help support your answer.
I know I\’m asking a lot here, but break things out, question by question and give good, substantive answers to see where they lead in terms of discussion.
