Project— Cultural Change Action Plan
In this assignment, you will complete a unique cultural change action plan for your organization or any organization that you have enough information to do so. Use the guidelines presented in Theme 2 and Theme 3 of this module to guide you, but be sure that you have enough unique categories for your own organization to demonstrate an individual approach. Note that your assignment will be returned to you if you submit it with the exact categories listed in Theme 2 and Theme 3.
Review Theme 2 and Theme 3 of this module. Complete all readings. Construct a document that has parts A and B.
For Part A, using the contents of Theme 2 as a guide, identify the unique challenges of cultural change that would occur if your organization adopted a complete customer-centered focus.
Even if you have an organization that is currently focused in customer leadership for its business model, useful changes are needed on an ongoing basis. Recall that cultural change involves working with people to get them to change their own behaviors.
For each uniquely identified challenge, you will construct a plan that supports the customer focus for organizational cultural change.
For Part B, review Theme 3 of this module. Use its method as a guide, but be sure to compose your own list of major challenges to process change in your organization.
You may detail more than five major changes, but you should not have more than 10 at this planning level.
Remember also that you are thinking of process changes in terms of how people will react to and contribute to them.
For each process change you identified, construct a plan to address each that you believe will promote a cross-divisional unified approach.
