Your analysis should be approximately 10-15 pages (not including title page, a proper abstract page, and properly formatted references). You will need to provide all the components of a well structured analytical essay:
An introduction that indicating the purpose of the paper and the issue under analysis. A thesis statement of what you intend to argue is appropriate to engage the reader.
The body is composed of coherent paragraphs providing the evidence (information, data, facts, observations) and striving to establish the truthfulness of this evidence (citations of credible sources required). Where controversial, make clear reference to alternative frames of reference or point of view. Strive to maintain a rational approach, acknowledging your personal bias. This section begins with your narrative (Who, What, When, Where) and should include your interpretation and inferences (the analysis; the how, why, what if). Clearly identify your assumptions, and strive to support those with evidence (references).
Develop your argument based on concepts (the theories or principles of Crisis Communication) as you perform the evaluation of the communication rendered during your event (the So What (implications and consequences), What’s Next (further inferences or proposed actions to drive a successful outcome in future events.
Your conclusion should provide a capsule summary of the major issues you addressed, and a restatement of your proposed solutions derived from the principles of Crisis and Risk Communication. In some ways this is a personal reflection on what lessons you have learned and would promote from the activity.
The work should be consistent with the Universal Intellectual Standards: Clear, Accurate (appropriate academic sources are useful here), Precise (enough detail to frame the discussion, without omission of conflicting facts or events), Relevant (focused on the assignment and the questions), Deep (rich, pursues root cause of the effects, etc.), Broad (considers multiple perspectives), Logical, Fair, Significant (focus on the central ideas of Crisis Communication), and Sufficient (to fully explain your interpretations, assumptions, suggested actions based on principles).
Use New Times Roman 12 font with 1” margins.  You should have at least 10 references, of which, 6 from peer-reviewed scholarly journals; from within the last 5 -10 years.
The analysis paper should balance comprehensiveness and conciseness.
The program has chosen to use the APA style of writing.  Refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association,7th Edition (2019).
Grammar and spelling are important.  Professionals are expected to be able to communicate well with other professionals.
