I need help with writing my college entry essay. Very important paper
Just a bit of info. (Background) I haven’t been to college since 2012. After my husband military retirement I’ve decided that it’s time to pursue my career that I’ve put on hold for awhile now. In my essay I want to explain a few things because my situation is unique. 1. I didn’t not finished my first degree in graphic design solely because my father passed away a few months (March)before my commencement in 2012. Being the only child I had to make a very hard decision and at the time I chose to go home to help my mom with funeral arrangements as well as financial support. 2. While working as a government contractor as a travel clerk on post I met my husband who was serving in the Army. I became a military spouse and that is very demanding frequent moves to different locations. I made plans in the fall of 2008 to continue my studies but in the early August of 2008, My husband became ill and was diagnosed with hodgskins lymphoma during one of his many deployments. He was medivated back home (fort Bragg) to receive chemo treatment. 6 months later he was officially in remission and 3 months after I became a mother. we have moved every 2 1/2-3 years and after our most recent tour was Alaska. Beautiful place. I’m a military brat myself both my parents served. I was born abroad(Germany) and I’ve always wanted to go back in some compacity. International business is want I’m applying to study. The university wants to know what I’ve been up too for the past 14yrs and how I will be successful academically. I want to somehow incorporate my experiences in all of the above. My husband has finally retired and I now have the opportunity to make my dreams come true and further my education. I have an amazing support system and failure is not an option every challenge I’ve had has not stopped me thus far and I basically would love a second chance at pursuing my Dreams. I think that covers it. I apologize, I know this is a lot.the name of the college is Jacksonville university.The college I attended in 2000-2002 was Bauder college.

I set out on a journey to study a degree in graphics in the year 2012 something that I had dreamt about but my aspirations were cut short by the death of my father that saw me put my dreams on hold. It was so because my mother was struggling financially and as such she could not support me in my education. I then decided to look for contracts that would assist us financially and I luckily got a job as a travel assistant in the government on contract basis. It was around the same time that I met my husband and due to the nature of his work as he was in the military, we would be moved to different places. It became hard to find stability and continue with my studies. I planned to continue with my studies but them my husband fell sick and had to take care of him as he underwent his chemotherapy.
