Based on your career plans, select a geographic target region (i.e., urban, rural) to focus on and identify career development needs based on an analysis of the socio- economic status of the general population

. so for this region I would like to choose the urban area of organ country in California. mostly the city of Irvine. where the socio-economic status are very high and the students got a lot of resources.

The purpose of this 5 pages paper is for candidates to analyze the college and career readiness needs of a particular geographic community, based on socio- economic factors.

Based on your career plans, select a geographic target region (i.e., urban, rural) to focus on and identify career development needs based on an analysis of the socio- economic status of the general population. Combine this information with an appropriate career development theory upon which to build a college and career advising plan. Detail what types of curriculum, lessons, activities, etc. you feel would be appropriate with this target group and, using theoretical references, explain why you feel each item is appropriate and necessary for college and career student development for this population. (Choice of grade level may be broader based, i.e., elementary, middle school, high school)
