At the beginning of time weapons and/or guns were used for hunting, self-defense, and war. I can recall the first time shooting a gun. My dad taught me the proper usages of a gun. During that time, it was for hunting and target practices. No license was needed. The freedom of gun used was so simply. We placed the gun on the back-glass rack of the truck.

Everyone within the community were aware of the rules and regulations of gun uses. I can also recall there were certain groups of people who could own high-powered guns. All of these guns were equipped with a reflex sight, allowing the user to have a better view and accuracy when aiming. They were a part of the good-ole-boys club. In 1976, the District of Columbia City Council passed the Fireman Control and Regulations Act (FCRA), thus enacting the nation’s strictest fireman’s control laws (Shafritz, and Borick, 2011, p. 73).

As Christian, the Bible tells us Jesus affirmed that sometimes it is necessary to be armed for self-defense. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them. It is enough (Luke 22:38). Even though, the right to protect and God’s will for Christian to suffer persecution. Although the Bible tells us that Jesus allowed His followers to own weapons, and even encourages it. God does not give the right to own weapons of choice for violence. The nature of the U.S. Federalism makes it difficult to be fair because they focus on the gun owners rather than the people who use the gun for violence. When guns and knifes can be purchased at shows.

In my opinion, public subsidy programs often result in much higher levels of expenditures than initially estimated because there is a higher number of people in need of assistance. The government is only allocating for a certain dollar amount in order to stay within a limited budget. I believe the government is out of touch with the millions of Americans who need assistance and are dependent upon the various benefits. There are so many people in the United States who are living on the poverty level and barely making it from day to day. As a result, they are constantly looking for any type of aid or assistance that is offered at no cost to them. For many, it is their lifesaver and makes it easier for them to be able to provide for their family. It eliminates the burden, stress, and anxiety of some of their problems. There are so many areas where people need assistance to help increase social well-being in an effort to help the economy grow. I do not think the government could ever create enough programs. There will always be somebody in need whether it is an individual, business, or school. From a Christian perspective, the Lord wants us to help our brothers and sisters in Christ when they are less fortunate. “There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need” (Deuteronomy 15:11; New Living Translation).
