During the first part of this course, you reflected upon assessments used within your organization. This is your chance to develop your own and borrow from industry standard assessments in your field. Begin to operate from a vision for improving your organization through the use of assessment (Assessment for Learning) and begin to assemble a plan to improve the use of assessment as a stakeholder and facilitator.

Post the following:

The policies and procedures that you have in place for assessment.

How do you use formative, summative, or benchmark assessment?

Is there a common practice that your particular type of organization uses?

Some different types of assessments that you use or desire to use.

Include an example of formative assessment and benchmarking assessment.

Do you use pre- and post-tests to establish a baseline?

An example of a subject in which you use a unique form of assessment.

Is there anything in this week’s reading that supports your type of assessment?

What other types of assessment should your organization be considering?

Support your statements with evidence from the Required Studies and your research on your organization’s policies.
