Alexander the great was in Pella, he was the son of King Philip II of Macedon. After his father’s death in 336 BCE he became the King and moved on to conquered most of the known world of his day. He was known as the great both for his military intelligence and diplomatic abilities in managing the diverse populaces of the sections he conquered.
