film: 28 weeks later (2017)

1. Consider the fact that the story in this film is part of the same world of 28 Days Later, which experienced an apocalyptic contagion event in several densely populated cities across the globe that led to the collapse of society. Describe what society looks like in London in your assigned film (28 Weeks Later).

2. Danny Boyle, the director of 28 Days Later, made the choice to not use the term “zombie.” Rather, he used the term “the infected.” Explain how each of these terms—the infected and the zombie—takes a different approach to understanding the status of the aggressive entities and how these entities should be treated.

3. Consider your answer in question 3.  Throughout the film, would you say that the non-infected human survivors treated the aggressive entities like “the infected” or like “zombies” devoid of humanity? Provide examples to support your claim.
