Innovation to include the use of electricity in the running of daily activities lead to evolution’s in every aspect of life. The largest beneficiary of the same may have been the health sector. Following the same, it is now possible to put an individual on life support and, as such, prolong his or her life. Electricity preceded the innovations in the information technology. Just as was the case with the discovery of electricity, the health sector also remains a sector to benefit by a large margin from information technology innovation. However, to benefit, the sector must first put measures in place that could ensure that it derives maximum benefits from information technology innovation. To derive the maximum benefit, the sector ought to identify the areas in which the technology would be useful.
