Discuss how educators can positively influence a school-age child to not hold biases or prejudices against others. Give an example of how a teacher can create a community of learners who support one another by fostering positive attitudes. Give an example of how an educator could teach his or her students the importance of acceptance. Your post must address the children in the concrete operational stage.

Considering that different groups in the society have different stereotypes and can be biased differently, it is important for teachers and educators to establish a positive attitude in school children. This attitude should eliminate the possibility of holding prejudices or biases against each other. In order to achieve this, the educators should be able to set up an environment which is diverse, inclusive and multicultural. For instance, classroom posters, books, pictures and even toys should be diversified in terms of ethnicity, age, race and gender (Prejudice, 2014).
