Following a plan can help you become a more effective leader

Jessica Barker

I learned that following a plan can help you become a more effective leader. I would like to share with the class the eight roles of the Formula which according to Ferguson & Robertson,(2019), “the Eight roles that make up the Formula: the Early Learning Partner, the Flight Engineer, the Philosopher, the Fixer, the Model, the Revealer, the Negotiator-Counselor, and the GPS Navigational Voice”. By following the formula which is basically the parenting (leadership) plan it enabled their child to fulfill their full potential and grow into the intelligent, determined, and purposeful young adult they are today.

I also learned that your professional network is one of the most effective tools at your disposal as a leader, helping you find career prospects, develop a successful team, anticipate organizational changes, and keep on top of industry trends. Healthcare practitioners may use networking to help them complete daily duties including teaching patients, monitoring their health, measuring their blood pressure, and much more. Patients can use a number of networking tools to manage chronic disease, food, and lifestyle choices.
