Throughout this course, you have taken numerous quizzes and received feedback from your instructor and classmates. Starting with your Grammar Assessment and reviewing all instructor feedback and quiz results, create a list of your five most frequent errors. Add your list of five errors to the “Editing Checklist” handout. Next, choose two proofreading strategies from section 9.4 of Essentials of College Writing and use those strategies to edit your essay. For your initial post:

Attach a copy of your editing checklist.
Describe the two proofreading strategies that you used.
Explain which strategy you prefer and why.
Explain what the benefits and drawbacks are for each strategy.

Reflection posts must be 300 to 400 words in length and posted by Day 3. You are not required to respond to your peers, but may do so if you choose. Proofreading forms the last and most important part of writing. Proofreading gives the writer a chance to detect mistakes that may have bypassed the revising and editing stage of writing. Among the many strategies that can be applied in proof reading, reading aloud while someone else reads along silently and having someone else proofread the work form the most intensive techniques according to me.
