In 5-6 pages, using Between the World and Me (Coates, 2015and the documentary Urban Rez (see link below) as your primary text and film, examine the themes of the American Dream, struggle, and resilience as experienced by African Americans and Native Americans. Be sure to discuss both Coates (2015) and Urban Rez for each theme. In your analysis of the themes, if possible and appropriate, make a connection to other assigned readings, films or videos, current events, and/or lecture notes.
