America has for a long while been an imbalanced nation in terms of the racial and ethnic constitution of its population, with the whites being the predominant majority. This is what for a long time has shaped the political and social spheres, at times even leading to unforgettable historical events, such as the Los Angeles rioting on April 29th, 1992 due to the acquittal of police officers who had been taped beating up a black motorist (McClain, 2013). A growth in these racial and ethnic minority populations might just be the cue that sees the eradication of discrimination in the present-day society. It might also be the start……………..
