Explain how your top five strengths relate to your leadership style. Determine how they relate to the key functions you would need to perform as a manager.

Determine what traits you need to work on the most to become a good leader. Then, explain whether these traits differ from the strengths you need to be a good manager.

Indicate which of your strengths you anticipate you will use the most in college or a future career.

This is what I have so far and my strengths are below:

My initial reaction to my strengths was that this can’t be true. I felt like it was a nicely put assessment that was going to shoot out strengths that I knew already. No, this pulled out actual strengths that are based off of my responses. It was totally different than what I thought. I had to take a look back and make sure I took the assessment right. The strengths I had were the following:

1. Confident

2. Competition

3. Innovation

4. Proactive

5. Consistency

I think these are great key factors for a leader. When it comes to confidence, a leader must be confident in their own decision making to be a great leader. For example, if you are up to making a major decision and you see people do not trust your decision, you have to be confident so they will trust that you know what you are talking about. Most good leaders are confident.
