Anatomy and physiology

Anatomy and physiology

Description:The topic should be regarding the Musculoskeletal System. Since you will have to elaborate on this chosen topic, identify issues that have been extensively researched and for which information from reputable sources are readily available. Another idea is to scan newspapers, magazines, or other sites with anatomy and physiology related content for inspiration.

It may be helpful to keep in mind that your final report must be 3-5 pages in length. For your reference, here is a link to a quick overview of writing a research paper: https://www.grammarly.com/blog/how-to-write-a-research-paper/ (Links to an external site.)
length: The body of your final paper should be between 3 and 5 double spaced pages excluding the title page and bibliography (so potentially 5-7 pages in total), including the abstract.

References: You must use scientific sources such as news articles that directly cite scientific research OR scientific research as published in science journals, government reports, etc.

Body Structure: Your research paper should follow the format provided below.

Section 1:

Introduction/Statement of Importance: This should be your first paragraph. This is where you present your topic and research questions to be addressed by the rest of the paper.
Section 2:

Across multiple paragraphs, outline your background research explaining the general topic to the reader. After reading this section, the reader should know everything they need to know about the topic in order to follow along with the rest of the paper. In total, this section should not be more than 1-2 pages long.
Section 3:

Again, across multiple paragraphs, this section outlines the major points and supporting evidence needed to answer your research questions. Make sure these points are in line with your introduction and that you are not getting off track. In total, this section should not be more than 2-3 pages long.
Section 4:

Conclusion! A strong way to conclude your paper is to look back at your statement of importance and re-write it for emphasis. Resist the urge to reiterate the detailed research you presented in your other sections (sections 2 & 3). The conclusion is the time to also make connections to bigger issues/trends/regulations/etc.
