The National Organization for Human Services code (NOHS) was developed in response to human needs and human problems. Thus it is a broad code of ethics that is characterized by the appreciation of human beings in all of their diversity. The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) focuses on a particular area and specifically that of social workers. Thus NOHS is broader compared to NASW.
